Egg Hunting

What a busy day today!

We went to Koi Palace in Daly City (South San Francisco) for Dim Sum. We knew it's gonna be crowded, so we called in before we go, hoping we didn't have to wait as long. I guess Koi Palace is one of the better Dim Sum place in the area, so it's known for the long wait, 1 to 1.5 hour easy. This is what we were told by the hostess. If we called in before we go, and if we arrived on time, waiting time should be 20-25 mins tops. If we called in and went early and hoping we could get the table earlier, sorry, that's not how it works. What they do, they would give you a regular check in number, then return to get a call-in number at a specific time, then they would compare which number would get you the table faster. Anyways, we were done around 2pm, and it's still packed at the waiting area.

We got home, as Ashlyn & Alex were playing with my cousins, I prepared the eggs and candies for the Easter Egg Hunt. I was gonna take them to the community parks, but then I found out the egg hunt organized by the community center was held on Saturday. Oh well, so we had our mini egg hunt at home in the front yard. There're little special something for Ashlyn & Alex, which were the Wizard of Oz toys. I put the toys in the front yard for them to hunt too. Well, actually, it's kind of obvious and not much "hunting" needed.

In the evening, my cousin Jacqueline came home and suggested to make cookies with Ashlyn. Oh No, they didn't make the cookies from scratch, she got the ready-made dough. We couldn't find any easter cookie cutters, so we used the X'mas one. To my surprise, Ashlyn finished her cookie.
XOXO
